Our pricing policy here at ACE is simple: we charge based on the length of the document we are reviewing (that is, the number of pages), and how soon you need it done. We also offer three different services, based on the level of detail with which you want us to review your materials. The prices below are per page of your document.
| Time | Proofreading | Editing | Commenting |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 days | $2.00 | $4.00 | $6.00 |
| 5 days | $3.00 | $5.00 | $7.00 |
| 4 days | $4.00 | $6.00 | $8.00 |
| 3 days | $5.00 | $7.00 | $9.00 |
| 2 days | $6.00 | $8.00 | $10.00 |
| 24 hours | $7.00 | $10.00 | $12.00 |
Time refers to the length of time which you give ACE to review your document. There may be times when we are able to get your reviewed document back to you early, but we will only promise to return it to you by the deadline which you specify. Submitting your document well in advance can save you money! PLEASE NOTE: This time frame refers to when ACE will deliver the reviewed document back to you, NOT when the document is due from you to a teacher, supervisor, or customer! When setting this deadline, please allow sufficient time before the REAL due date to review any corrections which we may make or suggest, and then turn in the finished document appropriately.
Whenever we talk about "reviewing" a document or "providing services," we are referring to performing one of the three services listed in the pricing table above: proofreading, editing, or commenting. Which level of service we provide when we review your document is up to you! Here are detailed descriptions of what each service includes.
Proofreading: The editor corrects spelling, punctuation, and simple grammar issues such as subject/verb agreement. Changes are made directly on the paper without explanation. Recommended for good (A or B) students or individuals confident in their writing skills, who just need a fresh set of eyes to go over their work and catch those last few typos.
Editing: The editor corrects spelling and punctuation. Grammar is also corrected, including rephrasing sentences where necessary to improve clarity. This may also include rearranging sections of text to improve organization, providing suggestions to expand or delete material, or questioning the intended meaning where it is unclear or more than one solution is possible. Changes are made directly on the paper, usually without explanation. Recommended for fair (B or C) students who need substantial help improving their work, or individuals having difficulty structuring their documents appropriately.
Commenting: The editor marks (but does not correct) mistakes in spelling, punctuation and grammar. Problems with overall organization and/or focus are marked or described. This may also include identifying recurring patterns of error. The editor explains what is wrong, and offers suggestions or guidelines of how to fix it, but leaves the actual corrections for the student or individual to make. Recommended for poor (C or below) students who want to improve their overall writing skills in addition to correcting a single piece of work. Also recommended for those who want detailed feedback on a partially-completed project, or for good students who wish to develop professional-level writing or editing skills.

Payment is due when you submit a copy of your document(s) for review. We accept payment in cash or via Paypal. There will be a $1.25 surcharge added to each Paypal order. Personal checks may be accepted if arrangements are made in advance. However, we will not start reviewing your work until your check has cleared (which usually takes 3 business days), so you would need to plan a longer "lead time" than with other payment methods. We are not able to accept credit or debit cards at this time, other than through Paypal. Click here for more information on payment and how to submit a document for review.
